A high gloss polish enhances the colours but is not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms or outdoors, . This finish is better suited for walls, table and counter tops.
Similarly the various forms of roughening the stone surface such as exfoliating, bush hammering or picking will provide the slip resistance but will dull the stone colour. A black will appear dark grey.
